“Denne lille juridiske veiviseren tar for seg rettighetsspørsmål knyttet til digitale medier. Målgruppen er i første rekke mine egne studenter på kursene MEVIT1700 og INF5270 ved Universitetet i Oslo, men det er forhåpentligvis noe matnyttig her også for andre.

FAQ

How do I play videos downloaded from YouTube?
First make sure the extension is .flv
Use VLC Player or FLV Player to open the file.

How do I convert videos downloaded from YouTube?
Use Replay Converter from Applian Technologies.

How do I convert .flv to play on PSP or iPod?
Install and run Replay Converter. It allows you to convert most formats (incl .flv) to play on PSP or iPod.

–>How do I rename to .flv?
To change to .flv, find your downloaded file and change the file extension from .htm to .flv
If there is no extension, then simply add .flv to the filename.
You may need to enable file extensions if you cannot see the .htm:
- In any folder on your hard drive go to “Tools” > “Folder Options” > “View” tab then scroll down to “Hide extensions for known file types” and uncheck that box.
Click “OK” to save changes. Now you should see the file extension which you can rename.

How do I play .flv files?
We recommend you use VLC player.
